A stainless steel front on TR90 temples: Thin flat metal rims in glossy black with a slightly upswept outer corner, on adjustable silver saddle nose pads. The temples stay TR90 because the electronics live inside them.

Clear lens, 20 percent blue light filtering, 100 percent UV protection: Screen-hour filtering in a frame that would pass for a pair of designer optical glasses.

Nothing announces itself: No camera, no lens housing, no logo on the front. Just a small Lucyd hexagon at the hinge. In a meeting, on a call, at a client site, it reads as eyewear.

Uses the assistant already on your phone: Double-tap the right temple and your phone's assistant opens, Siri or Google. AERO passes audio over Bluetooth rather than running an assistant of its own, so it is not tied to one company's software.

Open-ear audio keeps you in the room: Two 15mm drivers sit above the ear instead of plugging it. You hear the call and the doorbell, the podcast and your kid. Two noise-reducing microphones keep your voice clean on the other end.

Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX audio: A 10 metre range and 4.5 hours of playback even at maximum volume, and longer at lower volume. Back to full in 1.5 to 2 hours on the magnetic cable.

Optical-ready frame: Your optician can fit this frame with your own lenses. The lens groove accepts up to plus or minus 5.00. One year warranty.
