No camera on the frame: There is no lens and no camera housing, which means no awkward conversation at a school door, a hospital desk, a client site or a secure office.

Uses the assistant already on your phone: Double-tap the right temple and your phone's assistant opens, Siri or Google. AERO passes audio over Bluetooth rather than running an assistant of its own, so it is not tied to one company's software.

Open-ear audio keeps you in the room: Two 15mm drivers sit above the ear instead of plugging it. You hear the call and the doorbell, the podcast and your kid. Two noise-reducing microphones keep your voice clean on the other end.

Slim temples that read as eyewear, not hardware: The electronics are inside flat, slim temples rather than bolted to the outside. No camera housing, no bulge on the hinge. On a video call nobody asks what you are wearing.

Audio: Open-ear 15mm drivers sit above the ear rather than in it, so calls, music and your assistant arrive without shutting out the room. Two noise-reducing MEMS microphones keep your voice clear when there is noise behind you.
Lenses: Dark polarized nylon lenses, UV400 rated, with around 25 percent blue light filtering.

Connectivity: Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX, AAC and SBC codecs, 10 metre range, compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 and later. Powers on and reconnects to a phone it already knows.
Battery: 4.5 hours of audio even at maximum volume, and longer at lower volume. Full charge in 1.5 to 2 hours on the magnetic cable.
Controls: Touch panels on both temples. Double-tap the right temple to open the assistant already on your phone. Triple-tap it to hear your battery level out loud. Volume moves in sixteen steps rather than jumps.
Privacy: No camera on the frame. Nothing to point at anyone, and nothing to explain walking into a school, a hospital or a client meeting.
Compatibility: Opens the assistant already on your phone, Siri or Google. Optical-ready: the lens groove accepts lenses up to plus or minus 5.00, fitted by your optician.
Durability: Drop tested from 1.8 metres. Charging contacts rated to 5,000 connections. Ran normally after 48 hours at 60C dry heat and after 48 hours of salt spray at 80 to 90 percent humidity.
